"La Folle Journee", one of the biggest festivals of classical music in the world.

"La Folle Journee" – September 11th, 12th, 13th 2015.

The festival originated in France more than 20 years ago. Today, it also has editions in Brazil, Poland, Spain and Russia. It is its first time in Yekaterinburg.

The festival will be composed of 60 concerts played in 6 concert halls: the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic in Yekaterinburg, the Theatre Institute and the Museum of Writers of Ural.
Among the performers will be: the URAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, Yulianna Avdeeva, Boris Berezovsky, the Motion Trio, Nicholas Angelich.

The Motion Trio will play pieces of music by: H.M Górecki, K. Penderecki, F.Chopin, W.Kilar, J. Wojtarowicz as well as, for the first time in Russia, "Toccata Barbaro" – composed for the Motion Trio by Viatcheslav Semionov, professor of the "Russian Gnessins Academy of Music" in Moscow.
