During 21st - 31st January 2010, the Motion Trio will be giving 13 concerts on the occasion of the famous LA Folle Journee music festival (Nantes).This year 16th edition of the festival will be mainly devoted to the music of Frédéric Chopin. (“ Frédéric Chopin’s music and life”).

Motion Trio & Wim Wenders

MT musicians have had the pleasure to meet Wim Wenders. The meeting took place at the Mainz Staatstheater during the "Deutsche Theaterpreis DER FAUST" award ceremony which included MT’s concert. The director expressed his great recognition for MT’s music and its amazing tones.

In day 18.10.2009 Michael Nyman, The Motion Trio and Nigel Barr will take a stand together in Concert Studio of Polish Radio Channel Third. Artists will perform music of Michael Nyman (between others to Peter's Greeneway's movies) promoting new disc recorded commonly. Concert will be live broadcast.

In days - 29.VIII- 02.IX - Motion Trio will record a new CD along with Michael Nyman. The Recording will be realized in recording studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw. First-night concert will proceed in Warsaw (October). More information soon.

"Motion Trio for Cracov"

After their concert in Potsdam with Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, the public awarded them with a 15-minute standing ovation. In January 2008, when they played a two-hour concert of the music by Penderecki, Górecki, Kilar and their own in the famous Carnegie Hall, two standing ovations followed. This year in April, in the Barbican Center in London they performed a terrific concert with the band of Michael Nyman, a film score composer. During concert tour in great britain Mt performed among others on prestigious festivals of modern music "Oxford Contemporary Music", "Fuse Leeds", "Sounds New Polish Connections" in Canterbury. Joe Zawinul passed away - pianist and composer the most outstanding European in the history of jazz and the friend of Motion Trio. Beautiful music and the memory of the wonderful, sincere and modest man will remain.
